One Kid started it for his school.
Now we’re creating access to books and STEM, opening new possibilities through literacy for all children.
The Kid didn’t wait or ask permission. He started building and strangers became friends to grow it.

Where It All Began
When I was in 2nd grade, I started my first mission to help other kids have access to books. I believed every child deserved the chance to read stories that inspire them, help them learn, and open their imagination. What started as a small idea became the first school I sponsored through The Kid Builds a Library, and it taught me that even one kid can make a real difference. That was just the beginning of a mission that continues to grow, one kid, one book, and one library at a time.
How It's Going
I’m in 5th grade getting ready for middle school, and my mission is growing. I’m still focused on protecting books, but now I’m building something bigger. We’re creating student leaders through the libraries we build. With your support, we can create student ambassadors in schools who protect their libraries and bring in STEM, career, and diverse books so every child can see themselves and know their voice matters. This is bigger than me. I can’t wait to see what we build together this year. Thank you for your support.
Our newest Library
Our newest library building initiative is here 📚 This wasn’t just one kid this time; it was a whole community coming together to support children's literacy. We raised 467 books in one month, and now more kids have access to stories, learning, and new possibilities, including resources for STEM education. This experience showed me that no idea is too small when people unite for a common cause. Thank you to everyone who made this happen.
