Welcome to The Kid’s Motivation Corner! This is a place to find encouragement, be brave, and believe in yourself. Sometimes learning new things can feel scary, but every book you read helps you grow stronger and smarter.
I hope some of the tips below inspire you.
Keep reading, keep trying, and always believe you can do great things.
Sometimes people think you have to be an adult to make a difference, but that’s not true. There are kids all over the world who have helped their communities, stood up for what is right, and helped other children have better lives.
Reading about kids like this inspires me because it shows that young people can have powerful ideas too. If they can help change the world, then we can too, one good action at a time.
Malala began speaking up for girls’ education when she was only 11 years old. Even after facing danger, she continued fighting for children’s right to go to school. She later became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner and started the Malala Fund to help girls around the world get an education.
Ryan was 6 years old when he learned that many children in Africa didn’t have clean water. He started raising money to build wells. His efforts led to the creation of Ryan’s Well Foundation, which has helped bring clean water to thousands of people.
Mari became known for speaking up about the water crisis in Flint, Michigan when she was a child. She wrote letters to leaders and helped bring national attention to the issue, raising money and awareness to help families in her community.
When Craig was 12 years old, he learned about child labor around the world. He started an organization called Free the Children, which later became WE Charity, helping children receive education and resources.

This is one of my favorite books. We sometimes need to slow down and practice more. Mistakes are how we all learn.
Sometimes being a kid is hard or confusing. Even adults sometimes say things they don't mean. I hope this book helps you to understand more.

Sometimes the best way to grow is by trying something new, even if it feels a little scary. Every week, The Kid challenges you to be brave. Being brave does not mean you are not scared. It means you try anyway.
Read Something New
Choose a book you have never read before. It could be about space, animals, history, inventions, or someone who inspires you. Reading new books helps your imagination grow and teaches you about the world.
Try a STEM Activity
Build something, solve a puzzle, or try a simple science experiment. You could build with blocks, create a paper airplane, or learn how something works. STEM helps you become a great problem solver.
Help Someone
Do something kind for someone else. Help a classmate, help clean up at home, or share a book with a friend. Small acts of kindness make a big difference.
Do Something You Were Nervous to Try
Maybe it is reading out loud, answering a question in class, trying a new sport, or starting a harder book. Remember, brave kids are not perfect kids. Brave kids are kids who try.
